MAY 08 Tina & Derick, Ron & Val..perfect spot to spend Mother's Day with my 80 year old parents, ventured out to visit Sevenhill Cellars & Skillogallee, loved the fire and goodies. We will recommend Tickles to our friends 5/5.

Locality

TICKLES COTTAGE is 2 kms south of the heritage township of Mintaro, a lovely spot which beckons you from your car for a leisurely meander about the town and the opportunity to visit the Magpie and Stump, a real country pub with no pokies, visit Reilly's wine and perhaps try their beautiful dry land shiraz, a gutsy red made from 80 year old vines.

A 30 minute drive will see you in the mining township of Burra, 15 minutes and you will be in the township of CLARE or AUBURN. Mintaro is in the heart of the ClareValley WIne Region renowned for its famous RIESLINGS and REDS of tremendous depth.

All this only ONE AND A HALF HOURS pleasant drive from ADELAIDE, and an hour to the BAROSSA VALLEY makes Tickles Cottage a wonderful base for discovering the unique Clare Valley. If you are travelling as a larger group TICKLES combines beautifully with nearby PEPPERTREE for up to 10 guests. We also have The Beehive in Mintaro for up to 9 guests

In Clare we have "AABY's on the Riesling Trail" with 4 bedrooms within walking distance of restaurants and wineries.

TICKLES and PEPPERTREE COTTAGES are century old 4 & 5 room pug and limestone cottages set in peaceful rural surroundings within walking distance of the HERITAGE township of MINTARO where you will find the MAGPIE & STUMP hotel, MARTINDALE HALL, REILLY'S WINES, MINTARO CELLARS and the magnificent folly garden at TIMANDRA GARDEN.

Tickles is a pet friendly house where responsible owners can enjoy the company of their pets while exploring the Clare Valley.

Tickles is set in peaceful rural surroundings 100 metres from any roads. As the cottage is cosy we prefer to invite smaller dogs to stay. We have The Beehive in Mintaro and Aaby's in the Riesling Trail in Clare for larger dogs.

Your pet is welcome to join you in the house.

If you are looking to bring a much loved pet with you please mention this at the time of booking. We do charge an additional $20 if you are travelling with a pet.

Please bring food bowls and bedding with you. Any damage must be advised and paid for.

Not all guests staying at the property bring their pets, for us to continue to allow pets to holiday at the property we rspectfully ask that we find no trace of it either in side or in the garden on your departure.
