Unlike traditional bed and breakfast accommodation there are no guest areas shared with the hosts plus a separate guest entrance to the property ensures privacy.

All rooms are beautifully appointed with Queen size beds, electric blankets, modern ensuites, thermostatically controlled heating, tea and coffee making facilities, fully stocked minibars plus complimentary Penfolds port and Cadbury Favourites. Enjoy free wireless Internet access.

Wake up relaxed and enjoy a freshly prepared breakfast. Choose from a selection of breakfast cereals, breads, crumpets, fresh fruit, yoghurt, juices as well as your choice of leaf tea or a cappuccino. Local bacon, freshly laid free range eggs, mushrooms and tomatoes are cooked to order.

If you want to explore the best of southern Tasmania, there is no better location than Walton House. We are just 35 minutes south of Hobart, and 150 metres from the one and only junction where the road splits to go east (to Bruny Island, Woodbridge and Cygnet) or south (to the Tahune Airwalk, Australia’s southernmost point and Hastings Caves and Thermal Pool). We are located 200 metres from the centre of Huonville and just thirty minutes south of Hobart, forty-five minutes from the Tahune Airwalk, forty minutes to the Bruny Island Ferry and a walk to the Huon Jet Boat. We are right in the heart of the Huon Valley and on the Huon Trail so you're close to everything the area has to offer. Vineyards, fishing, golf, gardens and many other attractions are a short drive away.
