"A stay at Chesleigh Homestead takes you 'Far from the Madding Crowd' - a place to wind down from the stresses and strains of city life. It's an ideal family escape where you can be as active or as relaxed as you want. Jan and Mike are wonderful hosts, from organising delicious and wholesome meals, to planning the activities of the day and entertaining guests to poetry and song during the evening. The homestead is set in stunning countryside and the practical accommodation has that rustic feel. With the added value of the 'Games Room' and the opportunity to gather around the well stoked campfire for early evening imbibing, I would recommend it highly to anyone."

And here's why...
“Went to Australia Open in 2008, after that went for a walk along theMelbourne streets and saw the people having a gathering and playing guitars along the road. So enjoyable.”
“Commencing in Perth and driving all the way up the coast to Monkey Mia where we fed and swam with dolphins. Then back down to Perth where we swam with seals and then onto the Margaret River region, where we fed stingrays. Along the way we found some spectacular places to stay and discover and the weather was absolutely fabulous.WA has so much to offer and the people were always friendly and helpful.”
“Just love going to Sydney for a 'take-a-break' holiday... the funniest holiday experience was going over on the ferry when it broke down, but being on the water was just beautiful.”
“My favourite holiday experience was Darwin. We were only there about 8 days but managed to jam so much into that short time. From crocodiles jumping out of the water right in front of us, to the fantastic markets. Not to mention the waterfalls, sunsets, scenery and wild life. Even so there still was a lot we didn’t get to see. One day I want to go back.”
“Gold Coast has the most to offer. We went to 3 theme parks, Outback Spectacular, most shopping centres, surfing, walks on the squeaky sand beaches, coffee shops , choice of movies, theatre and shows. Loved it.”
